Stellantis Pro One Unveils New Electrified Vans Across Brands

Stellantis Pro One has announced a world premiere lineup of 12 commercial vans across its Citroën, FIAT Professional, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall brands, emphasizing electrification, advanced technology, and connectivity to meet the needs of business and professional customers.

A New Era of Commercial Vans

Stellantis Pro One’s ambitious commercial van lineup renewal includes an impressive array of features and improvements:

Six Brands, One Force

The “Six Brands, One Force” approach introduces new vans in all segments, from compact to mid-size and large. Each brand showcases its unique offering with models like the New Citroën Berlingo, Jumpy, Jumper, New FIAT Professional Doblò, Scudo, Ducato, New Opel/Vauxhall Combo, Vivaro, Movano, New Peugeot Partner, Expert, Boxer, and the upcoming New Ram ProMaster EV, set to be launched by the end of 2023.

Prioritizing Zero Emissions

Stellantis places a strong emphasis on zero-emission technologies. The 2nd generation Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) lineup offers increased range, with some models reaching up to 420 kilometers. Hydrogen fuel-cell options are also introduced, starting with mid-size vans in 2024.

Advanced Tech Features

The renewed van lineup is equipped with a range of advanced technology features:

  • Renewed cockpits provide drivers with a modern and user-friendly interface.
  • A new 10-inch infotainment system enhances connectivity and convenience.
  • 18 upgraded Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) support drivers, and some models reach up to Autonomous Level 2.
  • All new vans come with 100% connectivity as standard, enabling real-time fleet management.
  • The introduction of e-PTO (electric Power Take-off) offers an innovative solution that allows the traction battery to be used for various conversions.

Connectivity and Over-the-Air Updates

Stellantis aims to have 100% of its new vans connected by the end of 2023, with over-the-air updates becoming available from 2026. This focus on connectivity contributes to Stellantis’ goal of delivering €5 billion in connected services revenue.

Unmatched Range and Performance

The 2nd generation of zero-emission technologies offers impressive specifications:

  • New compact vans provide best-in-class BEV range of up to 330 kilometers.
  • Mid-size BEV vans offer battery packs with 50 or 75 kWh of energy and up to 350 km of range.
  • Large vans with a 110-kWh battery can reach up to 420 km on a single charge and support fast charging at 150 kW, enabling an 80% charge in under one hour.

The advancements extend to hydrogen fuel-cell options, with mid-size vans achieving a segment-record range of up to 400 km and large vans offering up to 500 km with a quick refill time of five minutes.

Additional features such as regenerative braking and heat pumps optimize energy recovery and efficiency, ensuring an eco-friendly drive.

Driver-Centric Enhancements

The driver’s experience is at the forefront of the van updates, including:

  • A new generation of human-machine interface (HMI) enhancing productivity and safety.
  • Dynamic Surround Vision provides drivers with a wide view around the vehicle, aiding navigation in various driving conditions.
  • Wireless connectivity keeps drivers informed and enables fleet managers to maintain real-time communication with their vehicles.
  • In compact vans, a new Smartphone Station connects to a dedicated app that allows the mobile phone to function as a control panel for the vehicle.
  • Large vans receive Level 2 assisted driving solutions, offering adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, lane centering, and traffic jam assist.

All-new commercial vans come equipped with full LED headlights for improved visibility and safety.

Advancing Electrification Across the Range

A 400V e-Power Take Off (ePTO) system brings electrification to commercial vehicles without compromising payload capacity, drawing power from the installed traction battery.

The Ram brand commercial vehicle product lineup will also be electrified, including the Ram ProMaster EV by the end of 2023 and the Ram 1500 REV in late 2024, with future plans for hydrogen fuel-cell technology.

The commitment to no-compromise solutions in range, capability, safety, and connectivity drives Stellantis Pro One’s customer-centric renewal of its van lineup.
